Lock bumping has been around for many years.  It works by having a key-cut a certaing way to obtain a "Master key" of more than 80% of commercially available door knob sets for both residential and commercial applications.  Below is a video that is readily available on the internet that demonstrates vulnerablilities in most door locks.

Solution:
There are severaly ways to combat lock bumping: changing in to high security electronic access control knobs, biometrics or most inexpensive method of all - just changing out the lock to a better made unit.
